From Coffee to Comedy: What’s Good in the South Bay This Weekend
Coffee pop-ups, blooming orchids, classic cars, a splash of color at Holi, and a superhero showdown on the sand.
Hey there, South Bay!
Another week in the neighborhood, and there’s actually a lot to look forward to. The end of March can feel like a quiet stretch—but if you’re paying attention, there’s some good stuff lined up.
If you're reading this on Thursday, do yourself a favor and stop by the Redondo Beach Farmers Market for a coffee from Refined Grind. My friend Julian only pops up once a week, roasts all his own beans, and really knows his craft. It’s honestly some of the best small-batch coffee around. (I’m partial to the mocha, but you can’t go wrong.) Plus, the ocean views from the market are pretty solid—always a good excuse for a walk while you sip.
And once you’re caffeinated, this weekend has a little bit of everything. There’s color, movement, music, and a few unexpected ways to break out of your usual routine. It’s not over-the-top, but if you’re up for something new—or just want to feel part of the community—it’s all happening close to home.
One small favor: If you're enjoying these weekly South Bay updates, drag this email to your primary inbox so you don't miss out. And if you’ve got a friend who’d love this kind of local scoop, feel free to forward it their way—we’d love to have them along for the ride.

📸 South Bay Snapshot

If you know, you know.
South Bay magic under the Manhattan Beach Pier.
Before I sign off, one last thing.
I never want this to feel like just another email in your inbox. The goal here is something a little different: to build a rhythm. A space where each week you can show up, skim through, and maybe find one thing that makes your day or weekend a little better. That’s it. Nothing flashy—just small, consistent connection.
Thanks for being here for it. And if you’ve got ideas, feedback, or something happening in your corner of the South Bay—hit reply anytime. Would love to hear from you.
See you next week!
Jaime, CEO (Chief Enjoyment Officer)
