There’s Something Happening in Hermosa This Weekend

And it’s not what you think. Plus: egg drops, art nights, and one seriously good Sunday on the water.

Hello South Bay!

Hope you got out and enjoyed this past weekend, it was a good one. I made my way over to Hermosa to check out a few things and ended up staying longer than I planned. One of the stops was the grand opening of DRIVE, right on Hermosa Ave. I was curious to see what they had going on, and honestly, it delivered.
They’ve got four full-motion racing simulators, with seats that move and react as you drive.
The vibe was solid—people were hanging out, giving it a try, and clearly enjoying themselves. It’s definitely a fun spot to check out with friends if you’re in the mood for something a little different.

Afterwards, I went across the street to Guisados for tacos—and found what I’m officially calling the Drink of the Week: their agua de melón with tamarindo chamoy. Cold, sweet, with just the right hit of spice. Total game-changer. You sip it once and immediately start wondering when you can come back for another.

Anyway—this week’s shaping up to be a good one. We’ve got art, live music, Easter happenings, and a few feel-good events that remind you why we live here. Let’s get into it.👇

🛎️ Quick favor—if this newsletter ends up buried in your inbox, drag it to “Primary” so you don’t miss what’s coming next. And if you’ve got a friend who’d love this kind of local scoop, feel free to forward it their way.
