Hello, South Bay.
First full week of March and there's a lot going on. Color festival, kite flying, puppies, live music, theatre, hiking, and a few things you probably haven't heard about yet. Some of these only happen once a year so if something catches your eye, don't sit on it.
Oh and clocks spring forward Sunday night. You'll lose an hour of sleep but the evenings get longer from here.

LA's biggest outdoor Holi celebration is back at Seaside Lagoon with 6,000 people, Bollywood celebrity DJs, food vendors, a full bar, and nonstop color play on the waterfront. This is a festival-level production with a concert stage, organic color powders, and the kind of energy that turns a Saturday into something you talk about all year. Dress code is white. Bring your crew.

52 years. That's how long the Kite Festival has been coming back to Redondo Pier. There's a kite flying contest, live music from local band 1969, face painting, taekwondo demos, and Craig's famous hot dog eating contest. Bring your own kite or buy one on the pier. Either way, watching the sky fill with color on a Sunday afternoon is one of those South Bay things that never gets old.

All proceeds go to the LFT Actor Fund, which pays 100% of actor wages for every LFT production. One night only.
