There’s more to the South Bay than just great restaurants and events—you’ve got to get out and explore it. Vicente Bluffs Reserve is the perfect spot for a scenic walk or coastal hike, offering stunning ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and peaceful trails along the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
The easy-to-moderate trails take you past native plants, rugged bluffs, and maybe even a whale sighting in the distance. Plus, the nearby Point Vicente Lighthouse and Interpretive Center add a little history to your adventure.
Personally, I love this spot because of the paved paths and quiet areas—it’s such an easy walk, and it really gives me space to slow down, reflect, and just take in the beauty of the coastline.

On a clear day, you can even see Catalina in the distance.
